Summer Crafting Camp at Beehive
Camp Beehive is a crafting summer camp for children ages 4-5 -9 years old. Each week, immersive crafts have been chosen that will help shape our theme, activities, and adventures. Our program day runs from 8:30 AM- 3 PM and aftercare is available from 3-5:30 PM for an additional fee.
This year Camp Beehive will take place at Beehive in the Bok building with trips to the park at East Passyunk Recreation Center , the Bok stoop and other studios around the Bok Building.

Is your camper a crafter, a dreamer, and maybe a bit entrepreneurial? Then we have the week for you! During the Dream Big + Shop Small week, campers will explore their talents, harness their creativity and create their individual or group brand.

This week campers will get magical and creative, exploring potion making, magic and science! Beehive will be a potion making machine with our makers creating slime factories, herb stews, sizzling lava and more!

Design your own superhero during this superhero week! Campers will dream up their super heroes special powers, design and create a super suit using found and recycled materials, and tell their superheroes story through comic, art or dramatic play. Let's get super!

This is a week full of mystery and intrigue. Our young detectives will spend the week solving mysteries, figuring out ways to send secret messages, and following clues.

Hop on the Hogwart's Express as campers spend a week deep in the magic of Harry Potter. Campers will collaborate to turn Beehive into Hogwarts and craft, create and magic their favorite parts of the series.

Small groups that will participate in rotating activities in the various spaces at and around Beehive, including read alouds, park, chalking on the Bok stoops, writing and acting out stories, time in the play space and in the crafting room
Immersive experience where campers work on large projects that utilize a variety of artistic and crafting techniques to dive deep into our weekly themes
Lots of time spent at the Splash Pad at East Passyunk Recreation Center, just a block from Beehive

8:30-9:15 Exploration and Innovation (free-craft, build, create, tinker)
9:30- 12:00 Craftship & Park (in 2 or 3 groups)
12:15-12:45 Lunch
12:45-1:30 Read Aloud, Rest, Quiet Crafting
1:30-1:45 Snack
1:45-2:30 Sidewalk chalk, Park, Neighborhood walk, Craft
2:30-3:00 Circle time, Pack-up, Playtime
3-5:30 Aftercare (3-4 outdoor walks and park trips/ 4-5 free crafting and creation, lego lab/ 5-5:30 free play in playspace)
*This schedule reflects our day to day outline. Each week’s adventures and activities will be planned based on the theme of the week and are subject to change.
**We will be in small groups of 10-12 students each who will at times do different activities and at times be part of a larger group.
Camp Beehive is not a day care center. Campers who enroll at Camp Beehive should be interested in crafting and art.
Pricing
Weekly $450
10% Multiple Week Discount (Register for 4 or more weeks to receive the discount)
15% Sibling Discount (Registrations need to be completed at the same time to receive the discount)
Discounts will be applied to the remainder of the balance after the deposit is paid. Discounts do not apply to aftercare. Only one discount may be applied to a booking.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel for any reason:
Cancellations and registration changes can be made by reaching out to us in writing through info@beehiveatbok.com. Please read below carefully as this policy will be strictly enforced for the 2025 camp season.
Before April 1, 2025: Full credit to your Beehive account or a refund less a $50 processing fee. The last day to receive a refund or credit will be April 1, 2025.
April 2, 2025 on: Registration changes can be made, space permitting. No refunds will be issued.
